This week we have something special for you. As you know AE recently brought on a new employee to design ships for use in the game, well he has been hard at work and is now moving onto 3D modelling. While he was on his coffee break I sneaked over to his desk and 'borrowed' one of the early hand designs for the Battleship. Remember this is an early design so it will change before it reaches the game itself but this is the first stage in the development of Astro Empires ships!
In game news it was announced that the Drekon hordes have made their way to the Gamma galaxies. Batten down the hatches and watch those scanners if you don't want to be caught off guard by this alien menace! Details are on the forums.
In forum news long time language moderator phoenix777 who has been looking after our Hungarian and Romanian language boards and global Moderator Green have retired from their forum moderation duties to focus on work in Real Life. We wish them both luck in the future.
In other news Ikari is enjoying his stay at Astro Empires HQ and trying to do as little work as possible. He selected a single shot from his many photographs taken while on the trip to make you all jealous.Now onto our Ask Astro Empires feature with some answers from the team.
